Role & Responsibilities

The role of an animatronics specialist encompasses the design, fabrication, and operation of animatronic systems. They are involved from the initial concept and design stages, through the sculpting and modeling of components, to the final programming and on-set operation of the animatronics. Skills Required

Animatronics specialists require a diverse skill set that blends the technical with the creative. Proficiency in mechanical design, electrical systems, and computer programming is fundamental, as these skills allow for the creation of intricate motion control systems. Artistic abilities, including sculpting, painting, and an understanding of anatomy, enable the creation of realistic figures. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for troubleshooting and refining the animatronics. Education
