Trinidad and Tobago offers one of the most generous film production incentives in the Caribbean through the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (FilmTT). The program provides a cash rebate of up to 35% on qualifying production expenditure, with an additional 20% bonus for local labour spend, creating a potential combined benefit of up to 55%.

Rebate Structure

The incentive operates on a tiered rebate system:

Up to 35% cash rebate: On qualifying production expenditure incurred in Trinidad and Tobago
20% local labour bonus: Additional rebate on salaries paid to Trinidad and Tobago nationals
Minimum spend: USD 100,000 in qualifying local expenditure
Annual program cap: USD 8 million
